Depression creeping in.. being important??

I was just answering someone in some closed Facebook group. The question was about the depression creeping in, despite all the efforts to be happy.

My reply was:

1. Same Abe always actually says how important these down-moments are. I wrote it once in this post: A different view of life structure (how precisely perfect, yesterday I “accidentally” stumbled upon that post, and now the answer came to me from there! :) I mean, what I said there at the end – when we don’t remember of our vibrational nature, then it looks like we shouldn’t experience these low moments. But when we do remember, and also see these low moments as the beginnings of the new enrichment in your stream, then you will experience them differently.

Maybe even the very change of approach from “why I’m here again” to “it’s an important work for me” or “it’s an important work that creates something good for ME” – or something else, feeling better, – maybe that very change will already let you feel differently in those moments. Victor Frankel in the concentration camp spoke to his cellmates about that – that it’s about perspective, that they in the concentration camp could go through very tough times when thinking about it having some purpose.

2. I think what you might add, is a bridge. You go to distraction, but then your set-point in the stream, in which you were depressed, stays about the same, so you could do some exercises to move it. I could wholeheartedly recommend to you the exercise I invented for myself in the toughest times: I had to find then something that would be really effective. I wrote about it here: A twist on Focus Wheeling, that helps me A LOT! :)

I think I combined there the distraction (2nd column), the appreciation (2nd column), finding the feeling place of what’s in the Vortex (3rd column), rising the emotional scale (1st column), and much more. Up until now I’m still using this process as the most effective, in all my streams.

3. You might start using your situation in research purposes. :) I myself am built in such a way: for example, AH say that if we come to alignment before going to sleep, then we wake up in alignment (or at least, that’s what I heard in what they said). But it didn’t work for me this way, and there were times, when I was really disappointed about it. But then I looked at it that it’s my chance to learn to realign, to really learn to realign, and I started doing it. And in other situations, too: I started to look at this like, this is for the research purpose. Like, this is that “pressure cooker for my potential” I just mentioned in another blog post, – that it forces me, okay, but forces me to find feeling better. I’m already finishing my next book, “33 thoughts for feeling better,” because I many times find some (raising me to feel better) thoughts that can then be taken as a pattern and applied in other situations, my other streams.

As you surely see from my reply :) I’m really taking it very thoroughly – and I don’t see how it could be different, it wasn’t in the purpose to be thorough, it was in the purpose to just feel better in the moments when it didn’t feel so.

4. Louise Hay once said, that to her it looks like, some people came here like to a kindergarten, and some others to make a Master Degree. It relaxed me a little. :) Maybe you could take it so, as well: that you came here to do a Master Degree, and what you’re doing is important, and the way you “built”, the way your life is built, is exactly as it should be for it, and for your most exciting journey, for your real satisfaction.

5. Yesterday I was thinking, when doing some 3-column-process on money, that I’m finding some real fundamentals, something I can really build upon. Like, all the false beliefs of how life is built, are falling down and failing me, in order for me not to rely on them, and they make me focus on something that truly works, that is true, that is the most effective. That is precisely working together in harmony: the happiness, the ease and the abundance.

No matter what you think, in short :), I think what you’re doing is important :) and will bring great joy to you. And I will hold this view-point for you, as this feels the best for me. :)

by the way about YouTube videos – when I’m really down, they don’t help me too much, either, – like AH say, they’re annoying at that stage :) but when I’m applying some efforts in raising my vibration myself – during finding even ONE thought, feeling better, and focusing on it, and milking from it all the relief I can feel there, – then the video that come to me, are suddenly helping, and answering to me directly on my situation, and helping me rise further. I don’t know if I learned it on my way or I felt it from the beginning, but I’m trying not to find help outside of me, when I’m down – I’m trying to first just find one thought that feels better, – and then I can continue, or the outer help comes.

and by the way – when I’m really down, the relieving thoughts give the really great feeling of relief. So when AH say, when being down – just hold on, it will be over soon, – I’m saying to myself: but why? there’s so much joy that is felt in the reliefs I’m getting at that stage! So when I’m really down, I’m calling the exercises “extracting joy from the stream” :)

I even have my saying for it (I wrote it and put it on my fridge):

“this situation

put something into the (my) Vortex

and I can get it

when I connect to it

now, what my Vortex is famous for?”

I write the parts in such a way on separate lines in order to focus on each line and really feel it. It is an exercise for me, too. :)

Frankly, when thinking about it, I myself feel like I’m tired from all the time falling down and getting myself from there up. And when I’m asking myself, would I like to just be happy instead of all this work? I immediately answer “Yes”.

but then I’m remembering the moments of the relief during the exercises (of finding a better feeling thought, I just prefer to do it in writing and not just verbally or thinking, as it helps me to really focus well, so I’m calling it an exercise), and then I remember how great it feels, the newly found alignment, and knowing that I did it consciously, so it is in my power, and it feels great.

and actually it is my life, forcing me “down” all the time, forces me to practice all the time in raising my vibration.

so I think it helps me to find the real thing I can rely upon, and also when I look at other people, who live apparently more easily and are happy more “by default” – when something happens to them and they “fall”, they try to rely on physical things, physical solutions, and I see how hard it is for them then to find a solution as they really didn’t practice it too much.

but besides.. what IS the “falling down”? it is the expanding of what’s available to us. It is the expanding of what our Inner Being holds for us, and is it a good thing? obviously, it is. so we can just realign and get what’s newly made available to us.

and if to look at life this way – that life is built in such a way, that expansion is inevitable and actually beneficial, then what is better: steadily, in a still way, being happy, or raising (and KNOWING to raise) to new heights?

“Pressure cooker of potential”

I love it! Such a beautiful image, perfect words to express what I felt.

The whole quote is:

“How lucky we are to experience the conundrums of life! Human paradox is the pressure cooker of potential that forces us to go within and find a whole world of solutions to the seemingly unsolvable enigmas in life.” ~ Lauren C. Gorgo (via 2009 energy update)
