I just heard it from Tony Robbins, and earlier read it at Tony Hseih’s book about Zappos [amazon_link id=”B007GATVYI” target=”_blank” ]Delivering Happiness[/amazon_link]. I felt it myself, too.
And I just wondered: why does progress make us happy?
Is it just a permission slip to help us easier believe that what we want in that stream, is more possible?
Or was the progress itself made possible by achieving some alignment in that stream, and then this feeling of re-alignment made us feel better, and we thought it was the progress that felt better?
Maybe it should start with the question “What is progress?”..
What do you think?
“It takes guts to put yourself on the line.
It takes guts to say “I’m gonna make this work.”
It takes guts to say “I’m gonna believe, knowing I can be disappointed and devastated.”
You know what? “Disappointed” is a good emotion if you know how to use it.” ~ Tony Robbins
I love also what he says about being a leader when .. doing anything. :)
