Listening to Tony Robbins’ “Personal Power” now (it’s a part of “Get the Edge”), I hear him talking about the associations and how they’re key to everything – if we don’t act on something, or don’t like something, that means we have pain associations with it, and if we act and/or like, we have a pleasure association.
He even mentioned something I never associated (pun intended :)) this way before: he said, that in concentration camps, people were looking for a sense, and those who found the sense in all that was happening, could continue to live. So Tony said, “sense” is just an association we have with something: if it makes sense to us, we have a pleasure association, and vice versa.
So is the sense in life?..
So it all reminded (associated :)) to me three things:
1) Bashar’s “all things, all events are neutral.” And our “perception” is our association, isn’t it?
2) High Flying Disc (HFD, by Abraham state of high energy) – don’t we then rise to HFD when we have a pleasure association with some subject? And we’re on LFD when we have a pain association with it. So a way to rise vibrationally, is to find some pleasure associations with the subject at hand.
Actually, Abraham speaks about it all the time – “get on the HFD and then..,” “distract yourself in something pleasurable and then..” – I just never saw it in this association light.
3) Sometimes we find it hard to believe in something if it doesn’t make sense to us – even if it does feel good, but doesn’t feel “true.” Could we possibly work with our associations on that subject then, in order to find ourselves able to believe what would actually serve us better?
Food for thought. :)
Yesterday, I saw this TED talk:
(“Yves Morieux: As work gets more complex, 6 rules to simplify”: video)
and I find, that it so speaks to me in terms of the vibrational play: first of all, knowing, what every part does. What the physical part of me does, and what the Source does. This feels very structuring and relaxing the tension. “Reward the cooperation,” etc. Made me think and feel tending to life in this cooperation mode.
This quote feels like more of it:
“Life caused you to put it in your vibrational reality,
and so it’s already amassed.
Everything that anyone lives,
was vibrational first.
And so, the vibrational reality that is amassing,
you’ve already put all of the components there.
It’s already done.
And so, when you offer a process like a focus wheel,
or when you do some scripting,
or when you rampage appreciation,
or when you make a list of positive aspects,
that exercise isn’t doing the creating.
That exercise is putting you in a place that allows you in the Vortex,
where what is already created, is.
So that you have the full view of it,
so that you can now see, what’s in there.” ~ AH
Following the link Dealing With Intense Feelings, I found a wonderful blog, written by Ruzica Kozul, Life Coach. She speaks a language I love, and I already subscribed both to her newsletter, and to get the blog updates to my mail (it’s possible through FeedBurner, you can subscribe, too: Subscribe to Ruzica Kozul, Life Coach by Email).
She finished the post with a question, how we would handle intense feelings, so I went and added mine. I’ll repost it with some additions here:
1. EFT, especially useful. I sometimes do focus wheel together with it – not writing the statements, but doing the EFT tapping, saying the statements out loud. But the traditional technique, offered by Nick Ortner and the divine Jessica Ortner (she so knows which sentences to give there!), is also really helpful. Here’s their stress relief CD download.
2. There’s a wonderful Kevin Shoeninger’s Core Energy Technique.
3. There’s saying things in general: “I have a situation. I have thoughts. I have feelings.”
4. My focus delights, starting with the general, and then maybe choosing more specific.
5. The 3-3-3 technique.
It also reminded me what I wrote in the Bonus Chapter to my first book, about money and Law of Attraction, here you can read it: Continue reading
Initially I wanted a tool for writing books, such that it would be available and synchronizing over different devices: Kindle, Android tablet, smartphone, PC, etc. I tried different programs, and finally someone “accidentally” :) showed me Evernote. It was excellent!
Google Chrome has a nice extension, Evernote Clipper, that helps to save all kinds of pieces from web pages to one place. And I could add all my book ideas to Evernote as I go, from my phone or tablet or whatever, and then have them at my computer, ready for editing and being used. I used “notebooks” in Evernote as books, and each note was or a section, or a whole chapter. These book notebooks went into the stack “My Books”, while I had more stacks, for other subjects.
So I wrote books in some combination of Evernote and Microsoft Word. And recently, someone showed me Scrivener…….. What a pleasure it is!!! Just to read its tutorial – a brilliant way to build it! So nice to learn in such a pleasant environment. It can show the book outline, it has a corkboard, it can help me to outline and move and build my books in a convenient way, and it allows me to write in a customized full-screen no-distraction environment, so beautiful I’m just enjoying the experience! :) It has so many features, which are just nice to have. People say, they increase productivity, I say, they increase fun. :)
So I wanted to import my books from Evernote to Scrivener, but no matter, how I tried – Scrivener was adding them as “media”, in a Research section, and I wanted to use them in Drafts.
I tried to drag and drop, export-import, and finally found the way. :) There was one little checkbox that changed it all.
So the path is (unless you find something even more productive, please let me know!):
1. Export notes (can be one note, can be even a whole notebook) in Evernote. Choose the option of saving them as multiple HTML files.
2. Open in Scrivener Tools –> Options –> Import/Export, and check the box next to “Convert HTML files to text”
3. On a folder in Scrivener, where you want to add them, right-click on that folder in the binder and choose Add -> Files.
or
If you saved all the exported notes in one separate folder on your computer, then you can just drag the whole folder into the binder of Scrivener!
That’s it! It saves all the rich formatting options I had set in Evernote notes: bold, italics, font color etc. So so nice!
By the way, Scrivener is still now at $20 instead of $40 at appsumo. And it’s not an affiliate link. :)
..It just feels so nice, so perfect: I’ve wanted my writing books to be of more fun, and here the tool is coming, which exactly feels like fun, and ease, and power together with lightness. I love it. :)
Good day!! :) ♥
I did it this morning, and my day goes differently! All kinds of memories indeed are coming from the far past, that I can feel good about right now, that I have seemingly long forgot about :)
Now, what’s interesting: he doesn’t make them to jump immediately to the HFD feelings, he starts with the general – physical sensations, of the heart, which doesn’t have too much negative attachment usually, I guess. Then to gratitude, and then he starts with all the memories of higher vibrations. Great process.
Really, building an emotional grid – a vibrational atmosphere. :)
(“Tony Robbins’ Emotional Flood Exercise – Oprah’s Lifeclass”: video)
In my recent aligning I paid attention, that when I write a program, I tend to take every aspect that I don’t know (yet), how to implement, as “I suck, I’m a failure, I know nothing.”
Now in my recent new-style programming, when I align, and then let the alignment express itself through new code, me riding the wave, – I said, okay, I tend to take it so, but I can also say: it’s an opening question, to which the new alignment will bring beautiful answers. It felt so much better!
So I started to call these “I don’t know how in the world it can be implemented at all!” – preview, thumbnails of what will be given to me in the new alignment.
And now I’m listening to an EC workshop, back 2 years ago, and suddenly hear there: “it’s the new level’s invitation being revealed.” What a beautiful wording! What a sweet reply :) cooperative rendezvouzing at its bestest :) ♥ Woohoo!! :) I love my life, so much. :) ♥
Bashar has been saying, “What is your story?”
AH have been saying, “What is your story?”
seeing in it the key, the instrument, the amusement.
Bashar even had the whole workplayshop for writing and rewriting our story. He said, when we see our life as a story with a particular structure, the archetype of “The Hero’s Journey”, we can then understand it .. more usefully. :)
Our physical part then appears to be the actor, and the Inner Being – the audience. But when we apply the storytelling structure, then we in our whole can be the audience, too, and enjoy the story as it goes.
And now I found this real gem: Emma Coats set out “22 Rules of Storytelling” based on what she learned working for the animation studio (responsible for such blockbusters as the Toy Story series and Finding Nemo), and Jessica Bogart of PBJ Publishing created an infographic for it (click the image to see it).
Such a pleasure to apply! I feel like doing a whole playshop for myself around it. :) It can be applied to the whole life, as well as to some particular streams in it.
is that they are feeling
like they are spinning their wheels,
like they are doing all the right pieces,
but not always seeing the results.
And many times it is because of
how they measured the results.
Now, if you’re feeling stuck,
if you’re feeling like you’re doing all the right pieces,
the first thing to do
is to lose your attachment to your perspective
and to start to see
from different areas and different ways
of what your life is all about,
for that is what is changing.
And you’re receiving
much help from the Universe
in this process.” ~ The Group, “Tuning In Again”
